The River of Life Ranch is a safe place to develop, learn, and grow in self love and acceptance using one person, one mentor and one horse.
The River of Life Ranch is a free ministry that is open to youth, families and adults who wish to experience a one-to-one mentor/mentee relationship in a peaceful ranch setting.
Horses are natural teachers of trust and respect; hope is shared and love blossoms between the horse and the mentee by way of gentle guidance and instruction of a committed volunteer. Within this generation of broken and blended households, the River of Life Ranch will work hard to become what every child and adult desires most......a family.
Through this experience, every person will know without a doubt that there is nothing broken or flawed about the way he or she is created in Christ. Be ye prepared: ALL who linger on this shore will come back THIRSTY for more of the LORD!
One person.....one horse.....one leader.....
When you come to the ranch for some "special time" you will get exactly that. Because we use one leader and one horse for each individual experience, that experience will be tailored to meet you right where you are, whether you know a little or a lot! No one gets left behind or lost in a crowd. The ranch experience might be an active horse ride, planting flowers, or stoking a nice warm fire that is just right for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. Whatever the day includes, it will be under the safety and care of an adult leader and will be provided free of charge.
